Hope everybody is keeping well and safe. We just started Wife's ILR visa application online, I just want to clarify something with regards to Knowledge of English part.

Can we still use her OLD IELTS for UKVI result which was taken last 2015? This is also the one we've used for her FLR application, It was CEFR Level B2. If we can still use this for her ILR application, there is a question:

Provide the SELT unique electronic reference number provided by the awarding body:

but not sure which number they are referring to in the IELTS certificate. There are two numbers in the certificate as below

    1. UKVI number
    2. Test Form number

Please can someone advise which number I should fill in the application form?

    Appreciate your reply.

Yes, She just passed last December. :)

By the way, just to double check couple of concerns sir,

    1. She arrived here in the UK on January 12, 2016 and her BRP will be expiring May 2021, so we are okay to send the application anytime as long as we completed all the necessary requirement right?

    2. With the financial requirement, would it be okay to use my annual income alone since I've met the required financial threshold? or do we need to include hers as well? cheers!

    Thanks

@Mattecube should be the one to answer your questions about when you can apply.

yes--you can use your income alone if its enough.

can i ask where your wife took her LITUK test ? and how did she get on with it ?

She took her Life in the UK test in Leeds as there are no available slots in Newcastle. She find it okay I guess? lol but she said some of the questions are not on the App that she downloaded. Luckily still managed to pass it. :)

sorry to be a pain..but i need to find out more info about these test centers.

the official Gov.UK site lists 30 test centers--and leeds isnt on it!

but if you visit this company--https://www.englishtestuk.co.uk/exam_date_litu

    it lists Leeds.

can i ask if your wife used that service?

the reason i ask is that service also lists Portsmouth--which is very local to us--yet it is NOT on the gov.UK list !

ive asked around on a couple of facebook immigration groups--and not had any helpful answers.

i really dont want to use the Gov.UK test centers--the nearest are in london--which is a total no no for me.

This one is fine for your wife although it is not on the Uk gov list it is approved note the crest on the home page.
You will payslightly more at £70 than the gov listed sites but it is an approved centre 1000%

oh--thanks for that. i did phone and speak to a chap the other week--but i got the impression he was just trying to sign us up to their service. they charge £79--but i dont know if that includes the £50 test fee. my main concern was if it is approved by UKVI--so you answered that.
we need to crack on with this now---i would be surprised if she passes first time--even though she is studying books and online.
the portsmouth test center is very local to us--once we cross the water.

Hi bigmac, we used the gov.uk website for booking wife's Life in the UK test.

Life in the UK: book your Life in the UK test (lituktestbooking.co.uk)

After you register and log in to your account

your screen should appear like this (Lit.jpg)

Then, choose make a booking and you will be directed to: (Centre1.jpg) just type in either postcode or your actual location and it will appear the test centre near you. (in our case there's no available dates in Newcastle that's why we chose Leeds :D )

Once you've chosen the test centre, it will show the available dates and time. (availability.jpg)

Hope this one helps.. Good luck :)

thanks--but the gov. site only lists 30 test centers--none near me. But there are other organisations that do the test--such as portsmouth--which is the one i want. just seems a bit fishy having to book a test when they wont say where it will be.
