Canada on the cusp of legalising the recreational use of cannabis. www.bbc.com/news/world-us-canada-44407795
I heard today that the UK produces and exports 45% of the Worlds Medicinal Cannabis.............all illegal in the UK and that we precess480 tonnes a year You couldnt make it up
Part of the advantage of legalising is standards and quality. The mental health issues with weed is the skunk variety. Offering legal normal weed will cut out this demand as it will be illegal still and not worth it. Similar to alcohol control and even tar content in fags.
The UK is the worlds largest exporter of "medicinal cannabis" despite the governments stance that cannabis has no legitimate medical value, theres aboiut to be a huge marijuana facility being built,i am thinking of getting shares. The UK governments attitude to cannabis is hypocritical at best Victoria atkins the hardline anti-cannabis MP's own husband paul Kenward is britains biggest cannabis farmer,Theresa Mays husband Philip profits from cannabis,if you grow it under governmental licence its allowed and medical, without a licence its a drug.
I have seen how much GW Pharma shares jumped from the beginning,i think any embryonic company with the licences and a solid business plan in the medicinal cannabis field is a reasonable punt, the industry is a billion dollar market.
I am off to Canada and the states next week for a month,i have a tour booked of the TWEED facility,a legal 400,000 cannabis plant grow.
Ha Ha. Their products page has no Bob Marley t-shirts. They do however sell the wonderfully named "Boaty McBoatface" for those who want to get, er, boat-faced. (better to google the tweed page yourself)
Tweed's advertising copy-writer appears to partake rather too much of his company's product and this has affected his memory and/or his ability to Google. Boaty McBoatface is not an underwater vehicle but a £200 million polar exploration ship. Tut tut.
That is the way it should have been, however: The authorities went into a last-minute huff, refused to honour the referendum result, and called the polar exploration ship "Sir David Attenborough" instead. The name of "Boaty McBoatface" was then used for one of the research submarines, so the people's democratic vote was overturned and we got a BINO (boat in name only). https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Boaty_McBoatface
.here on the I o Wight the new Cowes to East Cowes chain ferry was nicknamed floaty MC floatface. It has been an expensive disaster..keeps breaking down or running around at low tide.
Thanks for the correction, Dave, I appreciate it. I did a quick Google and came up with a page confirming the result of that popular poll. I should have checked further but didn't.
