    XOOM is part of Paypal,

A few years ago Xoom, via Paypal, was my preferred method for remitting, as it actually delivered cash directly to the person at home...
Then, unfortunately, they shot themselves in the foot by saying that only holders of US Bank Accounts were eligible to remit through them
They have now reversed that rule.

I haven't tried yet, but it looks like that home delivery takes that little bit longer, up to a day or three..., and the person must be there to receive.
Money pick up from the usual suspect outlets is virtually instant, or so the site says...

Just as a test page, I tried inputting £200 and the cost is £1.99 for either service or bank transfer
The same amout through World remit is normally £3.99, for pick up or bank transfer

Compare the price base based on the amount received Dom, if you enter say 10,000 received on both sites and then see what the total price is for each site that then accounts for the exchange rate as well.

I did that the other day and the difference is small but yes Xoom is cheaper.
