Shearer for me. Not a successful Premier League manager but a passionate English man and a winner when he was playing. England can't seem to score for toffee so he could help.
If JC had been the England manager a couple of nights back he would still be in the dug out refusing to leave the ground
Bobby Charlton was asked how he thought the England team of '66 would have fared against Iceland. " I think we'd have won 1-0 " he replied. "Only 1-0?" Said the reporter. "Yes," said Bobby. "Most of us are in our 70's now!"
Pochetino seems to have the golden touch - a success at Southampton, then at Spurs. Plus! He probably lives near to Wembley - maybe only a bus ride away for him. Spurs will be using Wembley stadium while White Hart Lane is rebuilt, so we probably don't even need to shell out for a new desk, stapler and stuff!
I personally don't care who or where the next manager is from, all I care about is some one who knows how to so the job, has passion and doesn't go weak kneed infront of the FA.
It seems that all three of those requirements tend to put the FA selection committee 'off' the candidate.
haha, yeah you're right. Something i think thats rife in all bodies of UK sport. like most things they are micro managed to the determent of the actual team
With the way things are going, and the game having sold its soul to TV, there seems to be only one predictable, logical choice......... Click here
If England could wait till the end of the season then they just might be able to tempt Arsene Wenger although I wouldn't expect Englands fortune to change too much
