settlement visa application

has anybody here submitted a settlement application last week and got the result using priority service? submitted mine last 1oth of october but ive heard nothing since then. which really got me worried. ive read that some of you here who applied for settlement visa and used the priority service got the result in just 4-5 days. getting restless, anxious and im losing sleep hahahah

Hi kring i just lodge my spouse application today using priority, did they inform you when they forwarded your application to ukvi. Im hoping also for a quick visa turn over i just receive a sms now that they forward already my application so finger cross

hi anna, no sms or even email that i received which is making me worried. all i have is the receipts that i paid the priority visa plus courier and sms fee. its already 6 working days since i submitted my application. i know its still within the timeline of 10 working days though. praying for some updates soon.

Stay possitive it will come in time, the same feeling here i just submit mine today and i start looking the calendar already so far i get sms that they forward my application already. Hopefully it will come soon

I am here in Davao now with the wife we submitted our application same day as you using the priority service we are still waiting for the result too all we got was a text to say it was sent to the embassy on the same day we lodged the application 7 days gone already and getting frustrating so I know how your feeling.

Yes I done the priority service VIP lounge and get it right service in Manila super typhoon in the north also affecting Manila on Thursday so I get the feeling of agony may be prolonged a little longer if the embassy doesn't give it to the courier very soon

that might be the case johnc, nothing we can do for now but to hope and pray for positive results soon.

The 8th day come and past now hoping we really get a reply tomorrow or it will be another long weekend till the 10th day on Monday I'm just wondering if after the 10th day if still no reply do I contact vfs or the embassy as we paid for the priority visa and as no one has contacted us I guess all the paperwork is in order we did put the wife's mobile number in case they wanted to quiery anything hope everyone gets some good news soon

they will basically contact us once decision has been made, it might be that theres a lot of application submitted using the priority service thats why it took this long but hopefully some good news soon.

Just got a text message from vfs today regarding the wifes spouse visa application after waiting 9 days that seemed like an eternity the message says,

The processed visa application gwf ??????? was recieved on 10/21/2016

Can anyone tell me through experience if this is a good sign it was approved we are still waiting for a tracking number as they are going to send it via courier from manila to davao.

Any answers would be very grateful.

It's only a generic email, no way of knowing really. The GWFxxxxxxx number is usually the tracking number you'll use in the courier website if you want to find out where your documents are. I got mine delivered to me the next day after receipt of email. Good luck!
