Ah okay, the CFO seminar is what it is, a seminar, you just turn up listen to the spiel then off you pop job done, nothing to fail on

As what @Timmers say, its just a seminar. In some instances, they do require the filipina to provide more information or document. There are extreme cases where it looks like a mail-order-brides or arranged marriages (not applicable to the UK but there are other countries which are okay with mail-order-brides set up within asia).

The can refuse to issue a sticker to you if they pick up on something they dont like,although the vast majority is a seminar each applicant is asked a few questions individually by an officer Ive not heard of people not getting the sticker however apparently it does happen!

Hi, do u have an idea regarding my case. I attended counselling from cfo this year it was month of April because I was applied a tourist visa to norway but unfortunately they didn't gave me a certificate because in my form i wrote i am annulled which is my annullment is still on going until now. But before I wrote that I asked to the guard for my assistance regarding what would I write at that time. but if I wrote I am single yes all my credentials are single but since my annullment is on process and I have plan to marry a norwegian and maybe next month I would apply a family visa. But my problem is can I apply a family visa even my annullment is on process and I don't know yet when to finish this case. And if so, my another problem is when visa granted and I need a cfo certificate which is the cfo asked me to submit cenomar authenticated and nullity. but how can I sumbit if it is not yet done...please give me an idea on what to do...thank you so much..God bless

Looks like the young lady in the case above may have had some bother because she was still married, its not clear, is she talking about tourist visa for Norway?

Yes but I think it hilites to all about getting all information correct and consistent,this maybe an extreme case but I guessa they do pick it up.

I hope they do pick up on cases like that, its their job at the end of the day to make sure all the paperwork is in order for those wishing to leave the country for shores anew.

I'd love to sit in on the CFO seminar for interest and amusement purposes, probably more fun than a lot of work related seminars that I have attended, in fact I might just have a gander on You Tube to see if there is anything, guessing they keep the seminar under wraps though.

My missus said the seminar was a kind of check and if they didn't like something they can dig deeper. It's mainly for the protection of the Filipina. She heard they delayed issuing the certificate to a very young lady who wanted to join a very old man...

When you think about it,the CFO is the only bit of a checkpoint from face to face human intervention in the visa process till the airport!

Only just Brom. 38 or 39 depending on time of year, birthdates etc. between my wife and I. Wife is 31, that is 11 years younger than my youngest daughter....!!
