but crucial brew was stronger back then.

Ive drank it but I wouldn't say the taste was a pleasurable one. The getting off your rocker in 4 cans was a plus point I suppose.

Haha , well at least it shows you are being faithful mate .

i could down 3 large cans of special brew--in the course of an evening..but the 4th was the killer. ive had 48 hour hangovers after that. not touched it in 20 years now.

Adastra Pacific ( stockport ) sometimes has Red Horse in but can order it for you as well. It was painful to pay £6 for a bottle and see the 75 peso price printed on the lid.

Thanks for the tip on the Wing Yip. I used to pass that place in Manchester many times. My ex wife occasionally bought Chinese produce in there. But although in recent years I often wondered, I didn’t know they had Filipino stock.

They also have lots of rice!

A proper ale I cant stand Special brew or Red Horse but this is very nice taste
