Sacked once again !!!! How many times so far?? I sincerely lost count. The bloke is a scammer, he is making a mint... Takes the mickey, he does! Fool who ever gives him another job in management. To be fair I was expecting something of the sort to happen, but at the end of the Carabao Cup, in case of loosing. Prevention better than cure..??
JM must be a millionaire many times over now. Didn't Abramovich also give him an extremely expensive sports car when he left Chelsea?
He has been doing very well financially since the days when he was Bobby Robson's translator at Barcelona. He was on £15 million a year at Spurs I wish I had his problems
It was only a matter of time the media have been out to get him for some time now, and the results and performances have steadily got worse. I think the prospect of losing Harry Kane has also impacted on this decision. The timing well its a strange one, they must have held the announcement over until this Super League plan was released hoping that it would take some flak away from the club.
I think Kane will leave anyway, he hasn't got long left. Mourinho lost the dressing room probably round the last time they played Newcastle he is a poisoned chalice.
The more I think about JM, the more I think about him returning to the Premier League. Moyes had a few sackings after United poached him from Everton and he seems to have been doing well recently. Someone will require his experience again.
If he does return to the PL it wont be with one of the established so called sly 6, it would be with a Team that has an owner with money that wants to get established in the top 6, not many of those teams around, Everton are settled with Ancelotti, same with Leicester and Rogers, who does that leave , Villa, Wet Spam ?.
There is no club in the premiership that would take his demands on as a financial burden or as his ego burden. He is finished in the premiership, you can go through the teams one by one there is no club left for him. Spain or Italy beckon.
Not as bad as his compatriot Villas-Boas but just as contemptible in managerial arrogance. Maureen, tho, wins on his prowess for getting the largest severance pay cheques every time he's sacked long before his contract is up. This is not coincidence............ It must be a planned course of action. Me, for one, I would not mind in the least if he disappeared in the bowels of some, very far, obscure foreign football league, never to return to the shores of this green and pleasant land with his presence again.
Can any of them afford him though John ?, for sure he will have to lower his wage demands in his next job, and i doubt any club will want to include any severance pay in his contract given his recent history of short stays. Im sure some billionaire somewhere will think he is the new messiah.
That's is what I mean by the financial burden in my post ie him and his cronies contract demands no club in the premiership would be right in the head to take him on. Then you have his ego clashes, who would take him on? He had a good spell at Chelsea but he is a spent force. All modern day managers/ head coaches are young men bar a few, I never liked the idea of him at United I don't think Moyes was given enough time and he got it wrong from the start by getting rid of some MUFC men like Phelan but he was dammed which ever way he turned and just look at him now at West Ham! Moanalot will do some punditry then slink off into the new season sbroad
I wouldn't complain if Mourinho became England boss, though Southgate is under no pressure at the moment. Nobody is expecting too much at Euro 2020/21. The 2022 World Cup is probably when he will be under pressure to show England are legitimate contenders. Maybe the Portugal job will open up in the Summer?
I would take Jose as a manager before Maurizio Sarri who was expected to take the Roma job. I think Jose would have a better chance of success in Serie A in its current form. I could quite easily see Inter becoming a basket case next season, Juventus in transition, Milan stagnating with an OAP scoring their goals and Napoli/Atalanta not being dominant enough to win the title. Whatever Jose achieves, I don't think he would ever take an opposing side to Old Trafford and concede 6.
