More dissenting voices these days! I hope they give him more time. A 4-1 loss last night to Bournemouth in the Carabao Cup didn't help and we play Bournemouth again at their place on Saturday in the Premier League. He did make eleven changes though. IMO, clubs cannot keep changing managers all the time, unless they are Chelsea!
A lot of surprised and disappointed blue work colleagues up here, they thought he would put a strong team out! As one pointed out Rafa had 18 points after 15 games Frank at best can get 17 if they win this weekend from 15 games! World Cup break a chance to bed in a new manager? I hope not I still think he will get mid table.
Results don't seem to be going in the direction that Frank wanted and frustration can easily be seen in his facial expressions recently. He seems to be a thoroughly nice man but I worry that if the team drops into the relegation zone, his nice ways will not stop a change of the board's attitude. The new stadium is moving along nicely and the board will probably want less losses as that time comes. I really hope Frank gets the mid table position that you mentioned.
If Everton get new investors it maybe their call on Lampard. Yes the stadium is certainly taking shape, walked past it las Sunday, surprising how buildings change in 2 weeks. Looks an impressive sight from the river,
Toffee fans seem to be talking about Dyche and Moyes. Please not Moyes - far too negative. I'm not sure about Dyche.
Chelsea falling apart West Ham torrid time, Moyes looks tired and beaten A really bad day down on the south coast for Everton
Why didn't the Everton back-room staff keep the players away from getting too close to the fans after two crushing defeats down there with an aggregate score of 1-7? Iwobi throwing his shirt into the crowd was a bad move. Some millionaire players don't really understand how the supporters feel at times. There is such a disconnect these days.
I watched a championship game last night, Burnley vs Blackburn, good game top of the table clash hope both teams get promoted. City legend Vincent Komany manager of Burnley. How Vincent Kompany turned Burnley from route one ...
Let's hope Frank Lampard can turn things around when the season starts again. Still, you cannot win matches without strikers who can put the ball in the onion bag. Maybe thinking about Ivan Toney was a bad idea? https://www.bbc.com/sport/football/63653384
