    Knight. You can have capitalism and democracy and a more evenly distributed income. It is possible to have the 3 together.

    I know. Hence, the US.

    But like I said, here in the Philippines is flawed because of the bureaucracy, feudalism (families holding areas in the Philippines despite elections), and corruption.

    Plus, we're a small country. The system of the US; bicameral legislative, President elections (that is too short), etc.

    I'd rather we become a Parliament. Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao all-self governing and separate states (instead of every thing just being concentrated in Luzon). With one central/federal government. Like in the UK and Australia.
