Another quick question on the TB test @Brom27 , do you know if there is a time limit between the test being taken and submitting the documents for the fiancée visa
The TB certificate will be valid for 6 months so make sure to apply for the visa after you got the TB test. I got my TB test October and I applied November just to allow more time before the expiry of the certificate.
HI @Brom27, what ID did you require to take the TB test, my fiancee is still waiting her passport but wanted to get it done soon, does she need her passport as ID proof as the test is for her visa and she has been advised her passport won't arrive till end of month at earliest.
You will need two ID for this one. First, she will need an ID to be left at the ground floor in exchange for visitor pass. She will then need passport to fill up the details on TB test. Does she have a copy of the first page of the passport? They might accept it. I think as long as the ID has Photo and birthdate it should be acceptable (i.e. Ph driver's license, PRC or SSS) . The best way is to get in touch with the IOM via email just to confirm.
If she has other valid IDs she can take the TB test now. It doesn't necessarily need to be a passport as long as it contains her photograph and details and is issued by the government. As @Maley said she will need 2 IDs one will be surrendered in the ground floor.
Not sure about email, but I sent them a text message asking for an appointment (no calls) and they replied within 5 minutes.
Personal details (name, birthday, address, etc), passport number, UK address, and a couple of other questions you can easily answer.
They don't ask for anything other than personal information on the day of the booking, but you'll be asked to bring your original and valid passport, a photocopy of it, and another government-issued ID on the actual day of appointment.
