Won't make a difference, each application is decided on its own merits. Might help you in the sense that you know what it's like in the UK already, you basically know what to expect here. Perhaps might help as far as good visa history is concerned, if you've not breach the contract of your student visa.
If you were on a student visa before, that could be a plus points on your 'immigration/travel history' as you didn't overstay, break rules or something like that. But that's it. For a fiance visa to be approved, your sponsor needs to meet the requirements and provide the necessary documents. Also, you two need to prove you have a genuine relationship which I'm sure you can easily prove.
1. Can we apply our Fiancee visa in UK holding Tourist Visa? - NO. You're not allowed to convert it. You have to go out of the UK, get married somewhere else and then apply for a Spouse visa to enter the UK again. 2. Can we register in the council to schedule our marriage? If not, what are proof I can show that we have strong intention of getting married and stay in Wales? - NO, you have to go out of the UK and apply for a Fiancee or Spouse visa from OUTSIDE the UK 3. Does Wales and England have the same scheme of financial requirements? - Not Sure 4. How do I apply my 10 year old son? - Not Sure 5. My fiancee can meet the financial requirement of £22,400. In case, can I also add my Philippines and China savings into my application to suffice the UKBA requirement? - NO. Your savings/ salary is not counted. Only your British husbands finances are counted. 6. How am I going to apply in Philippines for our Fiancee visa? - You have to gather all the documents needed and go to VFS global to get your biometrics done. Try using a migration agent or something. I've found a couple in the Philippines that do a lot of UK Spouse Visas.
Hi. My 10 year old son is with me now here in Wales for us to arrange our wedding and other documents for application. We are staying here for 6 months under Visit Visa. Is it possible that my child can enroll in a primary school whilst our stay? Will it affect our future application? Thank you very much.
No, as the child is not a resident just a visitor. You could maybe hire a private tutor though if you were concerned about the child missing some schooling.
Hi @Mattecube - are you sure about 4? I completed / submitted 2 applications last month for Kris ( @inaroiles ) and her son and didn't spot any option on the first application (Kris) to also apply on behalf of a third party. Moreover, you can't progress to payment on UKVI unless there is an application - with unique GWF reference. 2 applications = 2 fees. This is my understanding anyway. Cheers. Gerry
I need to see the screen but I think the question is and this is from memory is anyone traveling with you" if you click yes then a box pops up we filled it in for my wife's daughter. I am away till the weekend will clarify then
Yes - you are asked about others travelling with you but completing this section did not (iir) result in an option becoming available to pay 2 fees. I may have missed something! G
No - none. I am led to believe we pay the at time of FLR (m) - however, like @joi1991 the box to pay NHS did appear for her son. I completed the form and was told not necessary at this point. A reference number was provided.
Hi. Its me again and very thankful if you will help me with my enquiries. 1. Where can I get the English Language Certificate? Can I get it here in Wales or in Philippines? Do I need it since I was in a student visa year 2008-2013? 2. The TB Test, is it possible to undergo here in Wales or in Philippines? 3. Our accommodation is 1 bedroom private house. We have our 10 year old son counted as half person in the Maintenance and Accommodation. Any suggestion on how can we justify this on our application? Thank you very much. as we get into bits by bits of our application, there are lot more things we discover. Thank you and looking forward to your very helpful responses.
You may have a complicated background than what you have revealed so far. So we are answering your questions based on what you have stated (a major point is that you cant switch your visa from tourist to settlement (fiance or spouse) from inside the UK. You have to go back to ph, gather the documents (english test or tb test) and file it in ph. the tb test is only required if you have lived in certain countries like ph (uk gov website has a list of countries) for the immediate 6 months prior to your application. So if you are in a country which is not on the list, uk govt doesnt require tb test, but you have to show that you have valid documentation (working visa or residence permit). English test - if you have finished your studies here in the uk, you can have it assessed by NARIC. I cant answer on the accommodation since its a bit tricky - ie its clear that they allow an infant to be in a 1 bedroom house but i dont know if a 10 yr old is or isnt. Others would provide feedback or opinion on your query.
Thank you very much for your helpful response. Sorry if I sound complicated, too. Apparently, I am in Wales now under visit visa ( 6 months ) to arrange wedding details and to fill up the years that me and my fiancee are physically separated ( 3 painful years ). That is why I am enquiring if I can do the TB test and IELTS over here in Wales so it will be out of my list when I go back to Philippines for Marriage Settlement Visa application this coming July, 2017. We really appreciate your responses.
