Any POSITIVE Visa's granted in May?

How do you check visa app? Can you please share it to us? I applied priority too. Online: May 2
Biometric: May 3

I will apply from the Philippines. Yes US timeline is much faster. I am hoping that means they are also on track in clearing the backlog of applications from other countries

But they consider US safe and not Philippines, so its going to much quicker for US anyway.

It's my day 60 today. I haven't sent any form of email to the UKVI regarding my application. But received 2 separate email.

1st email : that they weren't able to process my application in time advice of 60 working days because my application is not straightforward.

2nd email : that the application is on hold for those who have children and didn't met the financial requirements.

Note : received both emails today 5 mins apart!

Do any one received this kind of email before? Should I just ignore it? Didn't say much about my application on why it is not straightforward, and do not have children plus my husband earn triple the financial requirement.

It sort of dampened my night, as I am not expecting to receive this kind of email.

Priority Visa Working day 44 since they had the documents. Time is running out for us and serious letters and demands will soon have to be made.

Hi @Rob I am sorry to hear that you've been waiting for 44 working days to hear from them... I too haven't received any for the past 2 months no updates, nothing. Just now! Which is really upsetting. I didn't do priority service as I had a hunch that it is not a good idea and rather save the money for holidays when I get back to London. Obviously the 2nd email doesn't fit my situation.. Now even if I was 100% that I've done it right from research to compiling the documents needed from day 1, now I felt did I do something wrong?
Oh well lets see what will happen. My husband will email the HO Sheffield, and will post an update.

Hi, @MrsDoyle, the 1st email is more likely just to cover their a** for not making a decision within 60 working days. Try not to worry as it might just be due to the back log or needs more information from you (e.g. 'missing documents') although I still find it questionable how it went missing when it was scanned LOL but it did happen to me and to Matt P. If that is the case, they will be in touch with you so don't worry As for the 2nd email, I suggest ignoring it if it does not apply to you. Hope this helps.

Today, at exactly 11:30 am I got my passport delivered and with it is my VISA. I am over the moon!! After months of waiting it is finally here. I would like to THANK each and everyone of you here for all the help and encouragement.

Congrats @Mrs_Oggy. I am on Day 36 and after paying Priority was hoping to already be in the process of booking flights to the UK for my wife and daughters, but alas not be be just yet. I am more fortunate than most, as currently waiting with them here in Manila. Enjoy your new adventure ahead
