Yep, I'll be floating on a boat off Mallorca in two days, no scuba kit though, just a family holiday Snorkel and masks at the ready.
The holiday is long gone and we have only memories now. The place we stayed at in Spain wasn't the best (a resort near Port de Pollenca in the N.E. of the island) because there wasn't a nice beach within reasonable walking distance and the one that was had a bad smell coming from the sea, I think because the water was stagnant and not moving enough. The food (all inclusive) in the hotel was excellent and the kids really loved the buffet, and the never ending Nutella dispenser. BTW, I have never bought anything by Elton John (a bit too much "pop" for me) but a classically trained pianist once told me he was incredibly talented on the ivories!
