Asking advise on what you think with my situation. My girlfriend which I have been seeing for 6 months has bumped into imagration I told them we are in a relationship and plan to get married in the future. He gave her a sp form fill out and have to hand it in within in 7 days. I'm seeking legal advise of course but can anyone shed light on what likely to happen next is this it ? I love her and want to marry her but really this quick or will they give time period to marry? Appericiate any feedback on this
Hello Grant and welcome to the forum. What is the exact name of the "SP" form they have given her? I'm sorry to say but getting married won't resolve her situation of being sent back home if indeed that is what immigration is intending to do. Your legal advisor will be more equipped to give you a definitive answer.
Hello Grant and welcome to British Filipino. I think even if we knew the full facts of the case we could only speculate on what will happen next to your girlfriend. I'm sure that each case of overstaying in the UK has its own set of circumstances and are dealt with on a case by case basis by the UK Border Agency. If I was in your position I wouldn't be expecting any good news.
