    Soon will be sending off for our visa application but just wanted to say what a great forum this is, I still have one or two questions that have been asked a 1000 times already but all your help has been fantastic, many thanks Ross and Reichelle

    You have obviously set to and cracked on with gathering your evidence at a pace?

    I have received help earlier this year from a friend but my accountant took so long updating my accounts that I decided to wait to April to update them again so no one could say my accounts are one year old, also its our 4 year anniversary together tomorrow so any evidence of our relationship is easier to prove,,,,,I hope

    Four years is good, you must have amassed quite a bit of evidence in that time to convince the UKVI.

    I had around seven years, gives you a little bit more confidence when applying for the visa.

    You tend to panic over the smallest detail even though we have had many holidays together many photos of me and Chelles family plus proof of financial support, you even start to doubt yourself

    I understand what you are saying, the real doubts set it once you have submitted the visa application. I think with photos (time stamped and captioned), plane tickets, passport stamps, chat messages, hotel and gift receipts and so on it is pretty easy to get across to the case worker that you are in a sustaining relationship.

    One problem we have is our earlier evidence as in time and date stamps, I was married so a visa was not on our minds to start with although screen shoots on FB will help and western union slips let alone flight a hotel vouchers

    The certificate is fro the Cambridge English language assessment

    The test was taken before April 2015 so might not be on that list

    I know now that IELTS is the only English Test recognized by the UKVI since April 2015, see the linl below;

    I know one of the lads here will post and let you know, some of the tests are still valid as you say, I've forgotten which. What we rely on here at BF is new people like yourself stopping on the forum once you have secured your visa and passing on your visa experiences, that way it ensures that we can give up to date information to help others who are about to start their visa journey. Its nearly a year since we got our visa and just in that short time many things have changed, the English Test being one of them. So as time goes on I can help less and less :(

    Yeah, as long as it was taken before April it's fine up until November.

    And that will do nicely, till the end of November 2015 anyway as Maharg stated. Remember that you can still use it for this for the FLR if you can get it done in time.
