    Hello,

Just a quick question because I don't really know what to do. I am currently living with my parents and we have a 2 bedrooms mortgage house. I am getting married on January 2015 and I am planning to get my husband to come over here but it says that the maximum person that can stay in a 2 bedroom house is 3, but I have my own room and my parents have their own room too. Can someone advice me on what I need to do, if I have to rent a place or we can still stay in my parents house because it will going to be 2 couples in 2 bedroom house.

    Many Thanks,
    Jo

It doesn't have to be a 3 bedroom house. It goes on all rooms, including front room and dining room.

So in terms of size it is big enough as long as you ave another room downstairs.

Can your parents get a copy of the deeds with house plan on. Or perhaps just the estate agents flyer with dimensions etc.

I will ask my mother tomorrow as she got all the house documents.

Or you can get a house survey done by a chartered surveyor. Cost you about 75 quid.

why dont you just rent a place--for say--6 months to start with. the contract and the estate agents particulars should be enough--but make sure your husbands name is also on the contract.

i would have thought you would be far happier in your own place rather than sharing. i know i would.

You need a tenancy agreement with at least 6 months remaining if renting.
