We just wonder how we should proceed with our visa application as we have had a responce asking for more information all most 9 months since we submitted our spouse visa application.

We have been asked to provide some documents.

    1 daughters birthcirtificate

    2 my passport

    3, Marraige cirtificate

4 evidence of benifits at current address.

However on double checking my email all information was provided to them last year.

I still have documentary evidence that my passport, my daughters birth cirtificate and marriage cirtificate were provided.

I also have evidence of six months universal credit payments sent.

I mean I can just send them again, I just don't get why when all this information was provided before and we are still here 9 months later asking for the same info.

I tried to call them and there is no way you can speak to them directly. The home office said there is a pandemic on and all applications are now expected to last more than 8 months. Not that I beleive ve it but its just a waist of time calling them.

If my memory serves me right are you going down the human rights path?

That is right we went through human rights, which means we get passed onto human rights after 3 months.

I suspect hold ups are between civil servant offices 1 asks for information of the other then sidelines the file till a response arrives, then the second office ask for information and sidelines the file, but the second office don't ask the first office for information they ask the applicant (( that's why you are getting asked again) in essence the first office decided it was the 2nd offices area of decision having sat on the file a few months the second office then restart the clock.
The ECOs probably sit opposite each other!
I think your going to have to be patient.
I have somewhere an e mail address that you can write to to escalate will dig it out over the weekend.

Hi thanks for the email address.

But on checking we sent all those documents to the human rights email, so we are pretty sure they have all the documents they are asking for again.

Allthough I am guessing, I think its one of those emails that they hope go's to the spam box which they don't send via post. Hoping we don't respond to the email as requested and then have some excuse to fail you. Despite the fact that they allready have all the information they need.

We now have a new visa after 9 months of waiting. They pretty much responded as soon as I sent the information again stating that they allready have it.

We are now on the 10 year route, so giving the delays of 9 months, plus other delays we can apply for ILR at least 11.5 years after her arrival in the UK. Allthough I don't know if its 11.5 or if we can apply for ILR IN 60 months as we meet the faincial requirements again, or if it will be in 5 years from now.

it's a bit of a harsh punishment being put back 6 years beacuse of not meeting the fiancial requirements beacuse of covid 19.

Anyway it is what it is, we have her visa at least for 30months.

It's good to get her visa just the shine has been taken off the whole drawn out process.
