    I love Dave Allen.
    I saw him in London once, back in 1986
    It was a really long show and a great night.

    They probably wouldn't get it, a lot of it is in his delivery and that does not always cross those kind of borders that well.

    I remember I used to stay up late just to watch him on TV. My mother wasn't too bothered as she was Irish so got most of the gags as well.

    Dave Allen was a true genius of stand up comedy.

    Sadly, today, we don't have people with such high intellect to keep us entertained.

    Apart from a couple of exceptions, all we have is a bunch of unfunny and repetitive morons.
