Hi board members. Just another pommie possibly falling in love looking for answers..... Thanks for the help and advise in advance.
Hi Timmers, Ya know how it goes.... sometimes love comes from the least expected places and the least expected person. But when you get a feeling and want to give it a go..... you need to have a better understanding of the downfalls. Im sure ill learn a lot from this site and the best path i should possibly follow if i follow my heart.
All hurdles can be negotiated, it depends how strong your love is. Getting a visa for the loved one is not difficult using the forum, getting a visa on your own, different ball game. I assume that ultimately a settlement visa is where you will be heading.
I like this girl.... in love yet, i am not sure. We need to spend more time together to find that one out. The last thing i want to do is rip someone from there family and country just because we think we are in love. This is a huge decision and i believe in ground work before making a harsh decision.
Hi and welcome, Davey73. I am 58 with a four year old daughter and a three year old son. Be very careful with a pretty Filipina. You have been warned
@ Timmers....I have changed my life for someone before and i got got hurt, she more even so..... im very cautious of hurting someone again. Date of birth bigmac. Im a spring chicken lol
Fair comment, once bitten twice shy and all that, regarding getting a visa for the UK, they are difficult but not impossible to get, if you search the forum there are lots of posts on this very subject. I really wouldn't be concerned that your lady may not like it here, the weather is no concern, we all moan about that . I think the UK is better for a more outgoing and independent Filipina, I don't go in for nurse maiding my wife she does her own thing. I am quite confident she would enjoy it here, I never hear any complaints.
