Never thought I would see someone actually showing Apple that they cannot be pushed around... I might sound sad to some of you, but this has actually made my day...:vhappy:
I'm always a bit glad when the mass consumer machine that is apple stumbles. I'm not a fan of them at all due to their policy of banging out half arsed products at overly inflated prices then 6 months later after the consumer has had to suffer all the niggles, faults etc due to a lack of testing and proper development, knock out a revised version at half the price.
I too am not a fan, had to use an iPhone for two years because the work got it for me, ditched it first chance I got. I particularly hate iTunes.
I really like Apple products. I think they blow everybody else out of the water with their design ethos. I just wish I could have a huge Apple desktop set-up but photography has become a bigger priority, especially taking shots of the kids.
I'm not against Apple, nor am I a die-hard fan. I have to admit though, like aposhark I think their designs are pretty sleek, sexy and engaging. Still enjoyed the story though, on the basis that this huge corportate missed something so important and basic. It's not uncommon even for the biggest, the best, the richest to get caught out by the little things. Off-topic I know, but I've noticed recently that all the shows on TFC where computers/laptops are visible, seemed to have switched from Sony Vaio to Apple. Much nicer and glowing logo.
i have used apple products for a few years ,and never had any problems,(hand on head,touch wood) my last purchase was a imac desktop, and find nothing i had in the past compares, but opinions differ,
