Well Reichelle managed to get her CENOMAR and make it for her appointment to drop off our paperwork,She went VIP and paid for the PV so its a wait of 10 days now, she said VIP was ok and because she needed to wait another 4 hours said it helped, Let's see if luck is on our side.
Good luck Ross , I really like what I'm hearing about this premium visa service, I think its fantastic, how much extra do you pay?
It's far to much but then everything connected to a visa is expensive, I was going to use an agency but decided against it so the money saved on that has gone towards PV service
Good luck @ross mastin! It may be possible that you guys will hear about the decision on yours versus mine.
i wouldnt be at all surprised if non-priority applications are side-lined to allow staff to attend to the priority premium applications. our timeline was--online app in on the 6th december. docs into VFS on the 22nd dec ( they were carried from the UK by her sister visiting the Filis for xmas holiday. ..hence that delay ) text from VFS on the 28th dec to say sent docs to embassy decision text on the 4th february. courier delivery on the 5th feb so--allowing for xmas and new year----not bad i thought. although a few got theirs ahead of us--and i was started to get a sweat on. hindsight--? if the quick service had been available back then---i would definitely have gone for it.

Might sound silly but I think it's worth it for the negative side of it, I would hate to wait 30 plus days just to find we had been turned down, if it's bad news I want to know now lol
Without tempting fate what did you do about flights bigmac ? As in was it a one way ticket ? Reichelle could fly into Norwich and passport control is nice and quite there but London flights are much cheaper, also a one way ticket is no cheaper than a return
so true. actually---when you think about it--most of the hoops to jump through are on the sponsors side---proof of required income or savings----somewhere suitable to live--and--free to marry-- (if its a fiancee visa.) and the applicant--? must have a pulse. thats about it really.
one way ticket to heathrow from manila--£380 saudia air from skyscanner. 3 hour layover. i did NOT book it till she texted to say she got the CFO stamp in her passport--booked it same day--easy. but i had researched a lot of flights first. (edited air ticket price )
I've been married before to I pinay and I attended her CFO, probably one of the toughest hours of my life, the elderly gentleman who interviewed her was mmmm the equivalent to a test examinar for passing your driving test or a tax man or a funeral director in fact all 3 together would be a better description
