Hello all, I hope you do not mind this posting. This autumn, the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham (QEHB) are looking to recruit nurses who are at present registered overseas, but not currently working as a nurse in the UK. We are working with Birmingham City University to offer a unique opportunity for nurses to gain valuable experience in a busy acute hospital in the UK, and to undertake the Overseas Nursing Programme, which will lead to the necessary registration to work in this country. QEHB will be offering employment to support candidates, and will also pay the course fees. The Overseas Nursing Programme is made up of 20 protected learning days, plus practice hours as determined in the Nursing and Midwifery Council decision letter. To apply, nurses will need IELTS at level 7, plus the right to remain in the UK. We are targeting the Filipino community as we highly value their strong work ethic and their passionate and dedicated high quality care. If this is something you may be interested in, or you know somebody who may, please pass his on. If you need any further information, please contact Michelle Field, Senior Nurse for Education here at QEHB. Email: michelle.field@uhb.nhs.uk alternatively you may call: 0121 371 4196 With kindest regards, Karl
