Hi guys, could you please give me advice on what kind of passport i have to process for my baby as we plan to prepare all the papers for my spousal visa going to UK. We have a two months old baby, my husband is from Scotland. Tips, advices and comments are highly appreciated. Thanks!

Assuming that your husband is British, I believe your baby will have British citizenship and can apply direct for a British passport. If your baby does qualify as a British citizen, that would certainly be the best option.

Since 2006, it has not even be necessary for the parents of the child to have been married at the time of the birth, in order for that child to qualify as a British citizen.
