You could have wound back on BBC Live by one hour at least. Unfortunately, it is not on iPlayer though so you have missed it now. There is a copy on YouTube if you fancy paying $1.99 and can adopt a US IP address.
Nae luck John, it was a good film, the lead female actress Fely Franquelli who played Andres Bonifacio's sweetheart Dalisay Delgado was Filipino and there were clearly a lot of Filipino extra's working on the movie. The film is slated by modern critics, but for those with an attachment to the country it has some nice touches, I have watched several Tagalog historical movies on the big screen over in Manila and the respectful exchange between Wayne and Quinn when talking about Bonifacio's grandfather and the Katipunan was nice. Yes it was a quickly thrown together propaganda movie but it wasn't bad. There are a couple of places where it is available on the web as Howerd mentions.
We did see half hours worth. I noticed my wife called it Bata-an. I will have to find a way to watch the rest of it. Interesting stuff and the thread has brought out some interesting material too.
I see Amazon have it and another movie simply called Bataan. http://www.amazon.co.uk/s/ref=nb_sb...x=back+to+bataa,aps&rh=i:aps,k:back to bataan
