This year the Barrio Fiesta will be held on the 16th and 17th of July. So you better be all there, or else.....:amen: We may be traveling down with some friends. http://www.fil-event.com/blogs/EklEuVFuuuRlwDReFL.shtml
Thanks so much for reposting the Fil-Event blog on this website. My wife usually goes. Along with a whole load of pals. I always end up being the driver Sometimes I stay and sometimes I find something else to do
This time, I will fetch one or two of those camping folding chairs, and keep my pants from getting ruined with grass stains. I generally have a decent time there, just going around and looking, listening to the singing, meeting people. It keeps the mrs from wanting to go to Debenhams shopping...
Not sure if I will be available then lots of things going on just now However I would love to be able to go down that weekend as it is my daughter's 25th birthday on the Monday and I've not seen her very often this last couple of years, she lives just outside London and I would love to visit her for her birthday. If I can make it down for Gemma's birthday then I will go down early enough to be able to go to the Barrio Fiesta as well.
oh i hope i can still travel... my friend in southampton is giving birth on june.. just thinking of visiting her on july .. and swing by london for that as well...
It always falls in my busy time which is a pity as im sure my Honey would love me to be surrounded by so many Pinoys in the UK
I will be going to this, we booked our hotel last night! Anyone know if we need to pay to get in or is it free?
The entrance is totally free, the car parking is not tho. I advise anyone to park in the council covered car park, as it was only a fiver, as opposed to the 10 quid asked by the pinoy run one... We just about managed to book a couple of rooms for the saturday night, for us and friends. Look out for a fat bloke with a cowboy hat......
