I so can relate with this song... When my Dad left us (I was 3yrs. old) my Mum had to go abroad and work so she can support us and get me and my siblings back together. I have 4 siblings and used to live with our relatives. Me with my grandma, my 2 sisters and brother with my father's side family, and my younger brother with my mum. I was 15 when we were all living together in one roof with my mum... Though I love my grandma, being with my mum and siblings was the happiest days of my life. It was tough but we all survived, and now happy with our own family! Because of you Dad I am who I am right now. It's not nice to have a broken family but I guess we are better without you
Wow, Chryss.. You had it tough growing up. Though I am sure many fellow Pinays would have similar stories, I know of a few men in the Philippines who just up and went on their family/pregnant girlfriend... Shame, but glad you came through it and now have a good life of your own.
