Disagree based on the information based in this link

    https://www.gov.uk/government/publi...stablish-dependency-under-the-eea-regulations

but I still maintain the application would fall at the first hurdle based on the first 2 bullet points as raised above and in this link

It's also worth noting that such applications are not, as the poster believes, free of charge.
    https://www.gov.uk/government/publi...stablish-dependency-under-the-eea-regulations

Example: The fiancée of an EEA national working in the UK applies for an EEA family permit, free of charge. She does not qualify under the EEA Regulations and has not paid the specified fee to be considered under paragraph 290 of the Immigration Rules. There is therefore no valid application before the ECO. In this instance the ECO should refuse and first address why the applicant did not meet the EEA Regulations. Reference should then be made to Regulation 31 of the Immigration and Nationality (Fees) Regulations 2009.

"A tourist visa is not intended to be used for you to cohabit with your girlfriend for six months..."

So what exactly is it for? In reality, who spends 6 months anywhere as a tourist???

Just one visit? Are you sure? I'm pretty sure you'll need to make at least two visits. Except in the State of Nevada.

Welcome to the forum. Tourist visas have been discussed before - why don't take a look around and see if any of the postings answer your question?

I don't know if you are aware of that, but British citizens have exactly the same rights. If you travel to work in another EU country you could bring your family members in exactly the same way. If I will go back to live in my home country I will loose any privileges of EEA family permit and I will have to use only the rules what are applied to my home country citizens.

Of course everything will change after Brexit and British citizens loose their EU privileges.

Yes, there is a fee if someone want to apply for EEA family permit for fiance which doesn't meet the EEA Regulations. For example he knows her less than 2 years and is unable to prove their durable relationship I suppose.

It is free if all EEA Regulations are met.

I am very well aware of the EU's freedom of movement rights as I live on Malta with my Filipino wife and our two children. That's how I know, for example, that the chances of you obtaining a Family Permit (which in the EU is known as a Family Reunification Visa) for someone you're not living with are slim and your assertion that she can work immediately she arrives in the UK is wrong.

Or not, as the case may be. But thank you for pointing this out.

So another of his sock puppets is identified. I wonder how long he'll last this time ...

Looks like you're talking about someone famous here. Should I know anything about it? Or its not really important?
