    Hi - Can somebody please explain the process of obtaining a Biometric Residence Permit when I apply for FLR(m).

    Thank you

    If you apply in person (premium service) for the FLR(M) then they will do your BRP there and send you the BRP card a couple of weeks later after your successful application.

    If you apply by post then you will receive a barcoded biometric invitation letter from the UKVI when your application is processed that you can take along to any participating Post Office that offers the BRP service.

    To find your nearest Post Office that offers the BRP service see the link below;

    FYI - The search on the post office website searches the closest post offices relevant to the post code you've input and not necessarily those offering the BRP.

    When you click on the post code finder you then have the option to select optional services like the BRP for example, I put my postcode in and it doesn't recognise it for some reason.

    I see that now Timmers :) Maybe just your post code. Tried mine and it displays Liverpool as the nearest for me.

    Just tried it again and it doesn't even work when I enter my town, not very good is it, maybe a temporary glitch :)
