She will need visit visas for the kids also I think chaperone flights have a lower age limit of 12.
I sent my son 'unaccompanied' from the Phils to UK when he was 9 years old. British passport holder though.
Check with the airline . Also look on the Phils govt websites.
Filipino minors need to get clearance from the Dept of Welfare in the Phils... and as far as I'm aware, be accompanied by an authorised parent or guardian. That was the case for my two Filipino stepchildren anyway...back in the 90s . Visas definitely required.
What if I accompany the kids. What documentations do we need. me and my husband is running a business here bohol. not so big though. but we dont have that much in our bank accounts. how do we go about it? thanks
I bet the list looks beautiful!!
We will be going! Also to the fiesta in London this year. Hope to see a few of you there.
How many people are going now? I think we are going, it is nice to meet people from this forum ☺️
Iv only just found this topic, I will be there for sure as its only about 20 minutes drive from where i live.
As it stands at the moment, we will be going.
Hello, how much is the ticket/ entrance fee and how can we buy it? Thanks
It says on the Fb posts its free admission..
Miss R was quite underwhelmed with the Manchester Barrio Fiesta last weekend. It had a lot of technical issues and wasn't brilliantly executed (I know, it's free....I shouldn't complain).
However, her eyes lit up at the mention of Jason Abalos. Never heard of him before, but I assume he's a big deal.
Looks like I'm off to Birmingham next week, even though it *might* clash with England's world cup fixture (wishful thinking).
Barrio Fiesta today and tomorrow in Sandwell.
One in Woodgate on the 7th. Still thinking if we will go today.
well--at least not on the same weekend this time.
Are you going?
no. the woman that organises one of the 2 barria lives near us--my wife knows her. she organises a big xmas party here--we went last year. it was very well attended. dont thise filipina ladies love to show off their pretty sparkly cocktail gowns
Hi to all....
I'll be there, Saturday, and depending how much fun I have, possibly Sunday also. This will be my second time, though I did got to the one in Manchester but it was very quiet (apart from the PA System (which was very loud).
Be good to be around some lovely people and climatize myself for my trip to Phil, hopefully this year
Looking forward to trying some traditional food
Well the weather is all set for a great weekend, just make sure you have plenty of sun block cream.
did anyone go ?
We were all set up to go, but I was too tired and upset after driving to Aberdeen and back in 2 days. There will be others.
