    Hi all,

I need to know if its possible to bring my 13 years old niece here in UK permanently.
Is adoption an option or student visa.
    Please advise

    Hi tiger&tigress,
Maybe the others can confirm, but I thought people who come to live here in the UK can only bring their sons or daughters.

Sorry to say this, but a student visa will not usually be a route for permanent residence in UK.
Well not unless your niece would continue building her studies and extending her student visa until she married a UK citizen or UK ILR visa holder.

One other possibility is via Dependent Visa.
There are possibilities for a number of family members to join you if you can prove they financially rely on you.

No offence intended, just trying to clarify.

Adoption could be a preferred route.;)

    Especially in Pinas...

Preferential treatment and all that blarney...
