Hi, Think I have already asked on here about the waiting times for my wife's Citizenship application,..but here's the latest news on the subject. As we are flying over in early November we were really worried that we had just 'thrown away' £900 to apply for the Citizenship and we would be gone by the time it was proccessed. Well,... we went ahead with fingers crossed,...and sent it off (without the checking service) on 2nd September sealed in a recorded special delivery bag along with another for returning my wife's Filipino passports along with their decision. Today,...12th October,...back came all the documents and passports with a letter stating that it was successfull and we will have an invitation for an oath ceremony sent out within the next 2 weeks !! Whew,...it was getting kinda close, but I only discovered she would need citizenship to return to UK if we stayed longer than 2 years in Phils by reading it on this very forum !!! (thanks ) So reading the application for Citizenship it states that it could take up to 6 months,..well it was actually only 40 days for us. Maybe this info could be helpfull to other members ? Jonny
