Hello! Has anyone here tried applying for a BRITISH PASSPORT for their adopted child in the Philippines? I have some questions. 1. How long / tedious is the process? Is it straightfoward? 2. How long after did you receive the passport? Many many thanks! I would appreciate your reply, really.
Assume you have read link below ? Options depend on type of adoption, and where adoption took place. https://www.gov.uk/government/publi...aw they will become,to any children they have. If done in philippines as domestic adoption then expect would need to look at registration first. We are based in UK and going through UK courts at present so can't comment on how easy passport application but do need to check on eligibility for citizenship.
