    Hello everyone thanks for allowing me to sign up here. I would like to ask advice regarding my situation. A little bit about myself im Alona living in kent 15 years now. Im Filipina from panglao Bohol. I was married to my first husband who is British and we got divorce 6 years ago. Pass forward i met somebody in UK and we are living together 4 years and got married last year. I updated my British passport using the surname of my second husband . Now we are planning to visit Philippines for holiday. But im a bit worried as my British passport is now under the surname of my second husband. My question here will this be a problem in Philippines immigration if I’ll visit Philippines for holiday? The last time i visit Philippines 8 years ago im using my Philippines passport and stated there the surname of my ex husband. Im aware aswell that my divorce is not acceptable in Philippines that is whywe are saving money for filing recognition of my divorce in Philippines regional trial court. But yeah as i was saying my main concern here is will there be a problem if i visit philippines using my british passport under the surname of my second husband. I really wanted to visit Philippines to see my parents :(. I hope somebody can answer here i couldn’t find any information in google. Thank you x.

    Hi Alona73 and :welcome: here,
    I went scuba diving in Alona once. Lovely place.
    You have a British passport now with your second husband's correct name so I think you have satisfied the British passport office that you can travel with the new UK passport.
    Best of luck :like::D

    Please see this guidance on recognition of divorce by the Philippines in answer to “will you have any problems at Philippines immigration”
