With an endorsement like that, exporting good old johnnies th the Philippines, would make one heck of a business idea...

Remind me to ask him for an exclusive blessing on the venture....

    On a more serious note...
This guy seems to be making slow moves in the right direction...

Correct me if I am wrong....

    I'd agree.

I think this is long over due. Catholic religon + poor country + no contraception = Spiralling population, increased poverty, increases in crime etc etc etc.

Stiil like the idea of holy condoms, obviously not ones with a hole!! sort of defeats the idea really, though wouldn't put it passed the catholic church!! Pope sponsored condom, in the name of the son, the father and the holy ghost enjoy this 99.9% risk free sh*g!!!

A condom with holes huh... According to many Bishops (now with egg on their face) condoms do not protect from Aids and contain many micro holes that allow the disease through..

though a step in the right direction it is:like:

Just being stubborn im sure they come round to realizing the Church needs to move with the reality as it is now in many Catholic areas.

Although over population and a young one at that is an issue at the moment it maybe its blessing in 10-20 years as China, Hong Kong, Korea, Singapore and Japan all find along with the west they have aging populations.

We do not have the resources to support the population we have, the only hope is the ageing population as that will ultimately result in a huge reduction in the consumers, we need the oldies we have to work longer and harder and the young ones to produce fewer new ones.

If we do that the future will be sustainable if the population drops to well below it's current levels, problem is even with that those future generations will have a lot less living space.
