Good afternoon, hope everyone is well.

For bank statements (for the spouse visa financial req)

Does it have to be a scanned version of those paper ones they send out?

Or can it be a downloaded pdf full statement of each month (downloaded from the Halifax app)?

(I would need to scan the statements of my savings account cos I can't seem to download that as pdf)

I've included an example of a downloaded pdf so you can see what I'm on about.

Purple circled: the part they're interested in right? The money from my job going in.

Orange circled: gift money from grandparents. This will catch their eye (which is why I'm considering just starting from Jan)

    Thankyou very much

Downloads are fine, it's what we have used from the outset and are waiting on our ILR application.
If you are using wages for the financial aspect any other deposits into your account are of no interest to them!
If you are using savings then these need to be in your account for 6 months at least.
There are many sources that lump cash savings can come from yours was a gift nothing wrong with that.
You may wish in the additional information section explain the deposit is a gift from granny and let them have her contact details
