5 years with an extra 2 years extension for parents and grandparents. I know one filipina who is looking forward to bringing her parents, her long-suffering Canadian husband isn't so happy https://www.ctvnews.ca/canada/super...ars-here-s-who-is-eligible-to-apply-1.5936961
i remember my wife wanting to bring her parents over here for a holiday--to stay with us--for the 6 months---
I bet you were overjoyed at the prospect Imagine having them as squatte..... I mean guests for SEVEN years
i said they would be welcome for a week or 2--but long term staying was impossible because of the risks of possible health problems. ( this was before covid ) Much better for her to visit them.
Got a relative and his wife leaving the Philippines for good today, both bound for Ontario and healthcare jobs, I think they are going to do just fine. I also know another lady 45 years old, a teacher, she just got a study visa for here, the agency the went through has a creative bank manager in their employ who back dates and credits your account paperwork with the required "show money" I think they charge 20 thousand peso for the service.
