Hi All, Just trying to get some information for my Fiancee regarding the CFO Seminar/appointment she needs to attend before leaving the Philippines... There appears to be lots of information on Google and YouTube but, on closer inspection, it all relates to K1 (USA) Visa applications, i.e. not for the UK. There appears to be a 1-to-1 interview (Q&A session) with all candidates on a CFO Seminar - is this the case for UK Visa applicants? If so, what sort of questions can you expect? What do candidates need to take with them to the CFO Seminar? TIA
she can expect questions about you--to show how much she really knows about you. your job..your parents names and birthdays--that sort of thing. but i would imagine she could make the answers up--they cant possibly check it out.
There is personal interview with a counsellor. They would ask her how you met, how long you have known each other etc. I brought along the entire set of fiance visa application pack that we have submitted. Plus it helps if she can show an active watsapp/fb chat between the two of you. Finally, she has nothing to worry about since you have a genuine relationship. In some cases, they would spot a mail order bride or some on tourist visa who are possible victims of human trafficking (even an organ donor abroad) and they stop them before they go overseas.
My wife took along her full folder also she was asked did I have children? What would be her new postcode and what job I did?
How precisely do you apply for this? A phone call? An online form? What's the typical wait on the appointment?
