This posted by someone who doesn't have much time for the Royal Family. I watched most of it because I enjoy the soldiers/sailors/airmen-women. Lots of peole enjoyed it but lots didn't. https://yougov.co.uk/topics/society...-does-public-opinion-stand-monarchy-ahead-cor Liverpool fans didn't sound too happy: Liverpool fans spark anger during Brentford game after booing national anthem and holding up 'Not my King' placards on the day of King Charles’ coronation (msn.com) From the article: "Booing the anthem is not new as Liverpool supporters have been doing it for years because of long-standing resentment against the establishment due to Government attitudes towards the city dating back to the 1980s and the handling of the Hillsborough disaster and the fight for justice." During Wednesday's win over Fulham fans at Anfield sang "You can stick your coronation up your a***". So, the establishment is the Royal Famiy ! Bit strange that one!
I was there yesterday.Just my opinion, the death of Queen Elizabeth sounded the death knell for the royal family, Charles doesn't command the same respect around the world.
Horrified King's coronation viewers slam 'cruel' display as 'thousands of dead bears' used for King's Guards hats: https://www.msn.com/en-gb/news/worl...p&cvid=ac12d227cd964f88b212416822360198&ei=83
MSN reporting at its best! Whilst I dont agree with trapping and cruelty in any shape or form, MSM fail to state that the skins come from bears that are culled as a matter of course to keep the black bear population in order. Does it make it right? one can debate that for every item on the planet
I think Charles knows this, and is slimming down the family accordingly, and the monarchy in the UK will operate like Spain Belgium and others.
I think your one of the very few who understand animal culls to prevent overpopulation. Canada supplies maybe 100 skins a year from the thunder bay annual fur auctions, there's a guesstimated 380,000-400,000 black bear in Canada for perspective.
