    As this Daily Mail artlicle points out..

    Though I have a funny feeling the boost in tourism to see the wedding procession and the memerobilia will at least put that back into the economy:like:

    Yeah that's the big question will we get a day off, everybody got a day off for Charles and if I remember correctly I think I got a day off school when Anne got married the first time.

    I joked at work that we were guaranteed a holiday but most folk after they thought about it reckoned that they might not announce a holiday this time.

    All good to me... The economy will get a boost from this event and Cameron knows it! He would rather allow hundreds of thousands of people (and tourists) lining up around London on the big day to wish the newlyweds along. The tax revenue alone will be worth making it a bank holiday for the one off...
