Child Application Form VAF4a/ appendix1 / sponsorship undertakings

Hello again Guys... Need to ask on regards filling application forms for my 2 kids back in Philippines ages 15&14. Am a naturalised British citizen since 2009 under work permit and my wife is just waiting for her citizenship to be approved, she got her "spouse visa" January 2012... Is VAF4a/ appendix 1/ sponsorship undertaking are the ones that I be needed to fill up for my kids entry clearance to UK? Or do I need to meet the financial requirement?.. Thank you.
