I am posting this in behalf of my neighbour. she wanted to apply for uk settlement visa. she wants advice what to submit. she was married in sharia court 1996 and divorce 1998. though all documents are written in Arabic and she don't have any copies with her. she knew that the ceremony does not reach any authentication authorities. ( ministry of justice and foreign affairs nor Philippine embassy) no record in Philippines at all. now she is worried if ECO will ask these documents? because she can't secure any. she is not connected in that country anymore. when she married her present husband she submit CENOMAR (single). is uk still have authority to check on this? she is worried because I told her what happens to me during my settlement application been denied( posted here) I told her about this site. thanks
