Has anyone visits Coron, do you have any recommendations on hotels ?

Thanks John, I have already looked at several hotels, was just looking for any feedback on hotels anyone has used there before. Can't decide on whether to go Coron island or Samal island,

I normally flick through the hotel guest reviews if I cant get any other feedback.

Yeah I'm the same, so far the hotels I have used have all been good, being new on here it's always good to get others opinions especially if they had recommendations.

Yeah it looks amazing, have been to Palawan and Coron is definitely a place to visit.

Did you venture up the underground river?

Yes, it was an amazing place to see, the tour guides were also so informative on the boat doing the tour in the underground river. If you get the chance it's worth doing, and also the island hopping. Great for snorkelling and swimming if that's something you like

I'm hopefully visiting Coron on my next visit, probably next March. El Nido is lovely and I'm hoping Coron is too! Any suggestions on places to stay would be greatly appreciated. Cheers

Hi coron.
I have visited Samal twice both times last year. We stayed in cheemas by the sea it was very nice, a few stops down from the pearl resort. The second time we stayed in a lovely place called Hof Gorei round houses on stilts with amazing sea views, wonderful food and gardens. We were there a week before the 4 people were kidnapped. we visited vanishing Island a short boat ride, and the bat caves. it is a lovely place but due to the kidnappings I would be reluctant to visit again especially as there are so many other beautiful places to visit within the islands. Thanks John, I have been thinking the same on the safety front, thanks for your information on places to stay, I will definitely keep it in mind, my preferred place is Coron, so that's where I'm making plans toward.
