How do you do this through the likes of Western Union? It’s got me stumped! We want to send my wife’s daughters some ThB to be collected in the Philippines before they leave for Thailand, if you use the likes of Western union there doesn’t appear to be a way for example if you select send money to the Philippines it will I only convert pesos if you select ThB then the collection point is Thailand. We want them to have a bit of cash for drinks lunch etc as they arrive before we do don’t really want to relay on a card! Any idea other than airport currency exchange desks?
Collect western union in peso, go to a money exchange in Manila (not the airport ones) and change to Baht, failing that if there's no other way just change in suvarnabhumi, downstairs on level one is the cheapest place to eat in the airport, few quid for a decent Thai meal, lot of the airport workers eat in there, great airport, easy to navigate.
