I was into bikes too Paul started aged 17 but I never got round to passing my test although I did start the process properly when I was about 28, being a biker helps as you are more aware of the road surface and basically because you are vastly more vulnerable.

I started on my 50cc bike as early as i woke on my 16th birthday, I had been waiting weeks for that day to arrive. When I done the test it was CBT and a practical test on the streets, Its changed since those days.

You are certainly more aware of the road surface, though on a bike I have succumbed to ice that was like glass and a diesel spillage on a roundabout on a hot day.

A lot of my vulnerability was brought on by my own stupidity. We were very immature bikers when me and my mates started out and some of those guys never got the chance to learn from their mistakes. As sad as it sounds I actually had the best time of my motoring life in those initial years.

I thought I was impatient but that crazy driver takes it to a different level.

I like the idea of those cab cams, a very good idea and good for capturing bad driving as seen.

I have 2 cab cams one on the road one facing me at all time except breaks, this way it shows if there is an incident that at the time I was not distracted.
