Hi guys, i got an email from vfs. The processed visa application for GWF reference number - GWFxxxx was received at the UK Visa Application Centre on 8/22/2014 7:20 AM. What does this email means?
It means it has been processed. Thats all it means. It is not telling you anything about the decision. When did you submit it? VFS never know the results. Have you had one from the UKBA? Check your junk mail folder too.
Did you arrange for them to send them to you? If not then i believe you would need to go in and collect them, if I remember correctly.
OK. Kuya said Cat B. He had issues over the selection of the appropriate category when his wife applied. So he looked into that element of the application big time. So he is probably right. We never got an email from the UKBA. Just one like yours from VFS. So we didnt know (officially) till the passport arrived at my wifes house ( we had opted for the courier service ) .
We had the same response too and we got the visa. The wife said when she went to pick up the paperwork she felt the passport envelope and apparantly if you cant feel anything in there but your passport then your visa has been approved. If you feel a sheet of paper in there then its been refused as the sheet of paper is the letter stating why its been refused!!! It would just be easier to open the envelope though and find out rather than feeling the envelope first!!
