Error in Sponsor's letter...

Hi, I'm here again seeking advice about my sponsor's Letter of Support (i think he is just slightly retarded or too excited, sorry for that). In his letter he wrote "...akin to marriage for the past two and half years..." supposedly 1 year and 10months as we just started to know each other Nov. 2012, & have special relationship Dec. 2012 tru internet, then we'v met Nov. 2013 in person and he came here again last April 2014 and proposed. If this is incorrect, any suggestions how to do the correction as the letter is from UK and signed by him and i'll start my application tomorrow. The problem is that there's no more enough time to do this again, sending mail of originally signed letter from UK to Phils, the last mail he send took almost a month.

Takes only two or three days to receive a letter from the UK using DHL, its expensive but fast.

If you think he has made a bit of a pigs ear of the letter of support then get him to do another one in a word document and email it to you, better if its signed properly though so DHL would be my choice just to make sure there is no issue when you submit your visa application.

By the way, I hope he is excited and not retarded, if he's retarded then you might want to put your visa on hold for a while

Yes. It is well worth putting some time and effort into the letter. And accuracy is essential too.

How much does it cost for 1 page using DHL? i'm so worried now, i feel i'm getting old so quickly. I have to check this link u gave Timmers, thanks... i will ask again soon. hehe

I can only say regarding DHL costs that on one of the three occasions I used DHL I sent around 12 x A4 sheets and I was charged £35, you are actually paying for the speed and the security of the delivery. With DHL you are confident you are going to receive the package, with regular mail to the Philippines you cannot guarantee this.

I look at it like this, if you are paying £1000 for the visa application then a few more pounds spent on a speedy delivery service such as DHL doesn't really matter.
