If you obtain the Etihad Guest Visa Credit Card and fly one return flight to the Philippines, you will become an Etihad Guest Silver account holder which gives you the to main benefits:

You will also earn miles everytime you spend on the card and finally an extra 5000 etihad guest miles when you spend 250 pounds on the card.

Worth considering if your next flight is with Etihad.

Excellant. Unfortunatly we'll be using emirates from now on as the company use them to fly us from the philippines. Should move up the cards pretty quick with them though

If you join Qantas Club for (£200ish??) you get lounge access and priority checkin with Emirates due to the new tie up. Various other benefits along with that.

Our business travel is Oman Air so far as possible which isn't so bad considering they have the best business class in the world.
When I book my own flights I check KLM first because i have the petroleum club card still from working with Vroon Offshore in the North Sea which gives lounge access etc and otherwise generally use the cheapest with a decent routing.

I'll have a look at that Ricky, ta. seems expensive though, more so than say priority pass. Never traveled Oman Air before, is it realy that good? Klm is still my go to airline first though I'll probably not use them again from UK to the phils due to the new route and time. My outfit use emirates out that neck of the woods so I thought I may as well get the ball rolling on my airmiles.

OmanAir business class is the same seat as British Airways First. It is excellent, but it's still early days with regards route expansion and the new airport coming.
