ΔxΔp ≥ ħ/2 Sorry..As much as I respect the man deeply,I think that he was very much mistaken in his words just after WW11.. Perhaps if he were alive today he may have seen the error of his thoughts with the benefit of hindsight after that moment in time.Perhaps not. Enoch Powel however was enormously unpopular back then with his views of the common market etc..Almost like he were a blasphemer of sorts... Some even labelled the man as a "racist". Very unjust IMO and dont forget, this was before the world had heard of the term "Political correctness".
For starters.. ‘Hard as it is to say now.. I look forward to a United States of Europe, in which the barriers between the nations will be greatly minimised and unrestricted travel will be possible.’
As I say nothing wrong with the statement I note he did not mention settlement across a United Europe!!
For now at least...(ish) Who knows how they will continue to restrict our liberties in future years?? There are many things that the EU have banned me from saying these days, that I was once "free" to express.... I`d better be careful with what I say I guess! I live in Asia these days...I never felt so free to be quite honest with you.. Just sayin.
As I am able to speak freely here from Asia, let me also assure you all that I am a bonofide and certifiable Islamaphobe!! No real difference that I can tell from the general views of atheists, which in the UK seems to be a perfectly acceptable hobby in this day and age. ...Just saying..
and that again is what it is all about also I must state, I fear only the scroungers from the EU (all countries without exclusion) I have a greater fear of the Islamic influx into this country. I found myself last time I booked to go to the Phils I would not book a middle eastern airline regardless of cost and also I wanted to spend least time over middle eastern countries and in my reasoning it included Turkey.
Until Leave have a credible plan for what happens post-Brexit, I'll be voting to remain. I really believe there is safety in numbers especially in this turbulent world we live in. I would suggest that if Remain win, I'm hoping the EU will water down their federalist ambitions a bit, may be make itself more accountable. But who knows? Maybe I'm being a bit naive. In these uncertain times, what we don't want is more uncertainly. That I can be er, certain about. Anyway....
Well you will certainly have plenty of safety in numbers if this level of immigration continues, at this rate you'll have a dozen Polaks living in the house either side of you with a Polish delicatessen at the end of the road with all the anti social behaviour that comes with it. The EU watering down their federalist ambitious, you're joking aren't you? Has the recent EU immigration crisis and the crash in Greece not told us that the EU cannot manage? Uncontrolled immigration to the UK will be the death of this once great nation there is nothing surer than that.
All of our history as the United Kingdom, to be told what to do by unelected people in Belgium. Where has our confidence gone? My grandfather would be very unimpressed with the laws of our nation being run by people from another country I was always taught to stand on my own two feet, not using a foreign crutch.
