My wife will be voting for Bongbong Marcos and Sara Duterte for vice President.

That's a bit of a red pill blue pill situation. Or a Schrödinger's cat scenario. You know the VP is probably the good guy, but the Marcos have a track record of ruining the country, so maybe it all balances out.

I just find it bizarre a President (in this case Marcos Snr) can cause so much damage to his country, yet, years later, his own son is back having a go. It's akin to Mark Thatcher taking control of the Tories, winning the election and proudly proclaiming he will continue Maggie's legacy.

Maybe BongBong will tell us where the missing billions are stashed?

    Ah that explains it. :D

My wife's family are from Tacloban which is Imelda's hometown, and they will tell you how fantastic the Marcoses were. Apparently, Ferdy built the San Juanico bridge, all by himself, with his own money. What a hero! As you can understand, they think Bong Bong is funky and will pour billions into Tacloban simply because Shoes is from there. My wife, on the other hand, hates the Marcos, she's a Duterte supporter.

I love Philippine politics, it makes Boris look like something out of Camberwick Green. Hello Mr Boris, have you been having illegal raves at no.10 during? Oh dear, I don't think Mr Plod will like that.

In the pinoy version after Duterte had illegal sabong at malacagnang the people who reported him would have disappeared as if they had never even existed :ninja:
There now follows a short musical interlude :) (I used to love this song).
